This is controlled via garbage cans equipped with scales and card readers. Australia continuously ranks as the worse country on the food sustainability index. Politicians blame the harsh heat as the main source of food spoilage. Cities in Sweden have developed a process to convert locals food waste into biogas to fuel 90% of their city buses. Each small bag of food waste can create enough fuel to drive a car 2.5 km!
